Monday Evening Concerts is thrilled to present a special summer program in collaboration with Hauser & Wirth in the Arts District. The program, which will be presented twice (at 7pm and 9pm) in the South Gallery and Education Loft of Hauser & Wirth on Monday, July 29, will take place in dialogue with the paintings of the Argentine master Guillermo Kuitca in the artist's first major Los Angeles exhibition. The program presented by MEC focuses on three iconoclastic composers who each presented the history of Western classical music with a major shift of paradigm. Images and sounds are at first clear, then blurred, then refracted, then evaporated.
